About Me

For years I struggled in authentically loving my body and being successful at maintaining my ideal weight.  I tried diets, calorie counting, and restricting certain foods which all left me feeling voracious and deprived.  Sometimes I would work out twice in one day to burn the extra calories from the junk food I couldn’t help but eat, watching the calorie counter to see how much more cardio I had to do before I allowed myself to stop feeling guilty.

My job as a personal trainer and fitness expert added to my tainted perception of what weight management was all about.  Clients would come to me and beg for transformation, swearing that if I just gave them a plan, they would stick with it.  But week after week they would return for their training session and confess that they weren't able to stick to their plan.  The excuses were many, from not having time to pack a lunch for work, to not having the will power to pass on the cake at the birthday party this weekend.

Until I saw how our beliefs and emotions were connected to our food choices, body weight, and self-image, I wasn't able to get to the root of the problem that all of my clients and I faced.  I was addressing a symptom instead of looking at the heart of the problem.

Out of frustration, I searched for a solution that would teach me how to get my mind off of the constant, repeat thoughts of food and how much I hated my body regardless of how much weight I lost.  I discovered meridian tapping and have committed my life to sharing my knowledge and experience with other women who now struggle with the reflection in the mirror.

I've been trained by some of the best EFT practitioners in the world and now I teach others how to apply the technique of meridian tapping to eliminate cravings, stop binge eating, and and address their emotions without turning to food as a solution.  I have experienced the freedom of eating for the health of it, and I want other women to experience that same feeling.
